Soft Walls

Installation in public space at Museum für Gestaltung, Zurich.
Fabric, spray paint, ropes.

How do we feel space? How do color and moving, almost living material change our perception of space?

This textile installation in public space at the façade of Zurich's Museum für Gestaltung was realised together with Marie Schumann.

The moving and reactive "second skin" mediates between architecture and the human body. Together, we worked around soft and hard geometrics, almost ornamental behaviour and textile presence in the city while the whole installation was in constant reaction to movement and weather.

We want to give our greatest Thank you to Christian Fischbacher and the team for sponsoring us with fabric as well as the team at Museum für Gestaltung and Zurich Design Weeks for their ongoing support and help! Photos: Alexander Schlosser
